Day by Day

Guests arrive in Leh and explore key attractions like Spituk Monastery and Leh Palace. They venture to Nubra Valley via Khardung-la pass, enjoy leisure time in the valley, and visit Diskit Monastery. The journey continues to Alchi, with stops at Lamayuru and Rizong Monastery, before returning to Leh for visits to Likir Gompa and Basgo. They then discover Shey Gompa, Thiksey Monastery, and Pangong Lake before concluding the trip with a visit to Hemis Gompa and departure from Leh.

Day 01: Arrival in Leh

Upon arrival at Leh airport, guests are greeted by our representative and transferred to their hotel. Rest and acclimatize to the altitude, as Leh is situated at a high altitude of 3500 meters in the rain shadow of the Great Himalayas.

Day 02: Exploration of Leh

After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Leh. Visit Spituk Monastery, perched on a hill overlooking the Indus River, and admire its ancient artifacts and Thangka paintings. Continue to Sankar Gompa, a serene Buddhist monastery known for its peaceful ambiance. Explore the historic Leh Palace, once the residence of the royal family of Ladakh, and marvel at its architectural grandeur. End the day with a visit to Shanti Stupa, a white-domed stupa offering panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding Himalayan peaks

Day 03: Journey to Nubra Valley

After an early breakfast, depart from Leh towards Nubra Valley via the famous Khardung-la pass, which stands at an elevation of 18,380 feet and offers stunning views of the Himalayas. Stop at the picturesque Hundar village upon arrival in Nubra Valley and explore its sand dunes, where you can enjoy a camel safari amidst the tranquil desert landscape.

Day 04: Leisure Time in Nubra Valley

Today is at leisure to explore the beauty of Nubra Valley at your own pace. Take leisurely walks through the charming villages of Sumur and Kyagar, interact with the friendly locals, and immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of this Himalayan paradise. Alternatively, you can visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra Valley, and witness its ancient artifacts and colorful mura at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 05: Return to Leh via Diskit Monastery

Bid farewell to Nubra Valley and embark on the journey back to Leh. En route, visit Diskit Monastery to pay homage to its sacred relics and admire the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Upon reaching Leh, relax and unwind at your hotel, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of the past few days.

Day 06: Drive to Alchi with Enroute Attractions

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alchi, a picturesque village renowned for its ancient monasteries and artistic treasures. En route, make a stop at Lamayuru, known as the "Moonland" due to its lunar-like landscape, and explore its historic monastery. Continue the journey to Rizong Monastery, nestled amidst the rugged mountains, before proceeding to Alchia.

Day 07: Exploration of Alchi and Return to Leh

Spend the day exploring the cultural heritage of Alchi village. Visit Alchi Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its exquisite frescoes and wood carvings dating back to the 11th century. Explore the charming lanes of the village and interact with the local artisans. Later, drive back to Leh, stopping at Likir Gompa and Basgo to admire their architectural beauty and spiritual significance

Day 08: Discover Shey Gompa, Thiksey Monastery, and Pangong Lake

Set out on a day-long journey to explore the cultural wonders of Ladakh. Begin your excursion at Shey Gompa, an ancient monastery famed for its colossal gold-plated Buddha statue. Next, venture to Thiksey Monastery, a sprawling complex nestled atop a hill, where you can immerse yourself in vibrant murals and ancient scriptures. Conclude your day with a visit to Pangong Lake, renowned for its stunning blue hues contrasting against the rugged mountain scenery

Day 09: Visit Hemis Gompa and Departure from Leh

On the final day of your Ladakh adventure, visit Hemis Gompa, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, famous for its annual Hemis Festival. Explore its rich collection of artifacts, thangkas, and religious relics, and witness the monks perform traditional rituals.
